Looking quickly at it, the Makefile is a bit of a mess and needs a lot more cleanup, but that can be done by a committer. I think all it needs is a committer to take it on, clean it up, and commit it. I'll answer the PR with what I see needs cleaning up. -- Mathieu Arnold
