Hello Rainer,

don't mean to pressure you in any way, and thank you in advance for your
work in maintaining the port, but do you happen to have any status
update on mcmc-jags v. 4?

I am sorry, but I am not the maintainer of the port. I only filed a PR (Bug 204525) as a suggestion for an update.

The maintainer (b...@freebsd.org, CC'ed) is the person to decide, if this should happen.

In the meantime, you could try the patch as a local copy and update your math/jags installation, if you want to.

HTH,
Rainer

some weeks ago I prepared an updated port for math/jags in the hurry. It
was never published, only used local by me. But it seems to work :)

I just filed a PR [1] and put this version in. It is only quick and
dirty, at least some smaller problems remain.

    HTH,
    Rainer
