Today I did "pkg upgrade" and received the following: libglesv2 has no direct installation candidates, change it to libglesv2? [Y/n]: Maybe I'm blind, but this looks like x != x. I had libglesv2 locked, so pkg should have not even looked at it, as far as I can tell, but maybe the solver had an issue with that.
I said "y", but when asked to proceed with updates, I said "N", and ran it again with the same results, but I told pkg to proceed this time and got the following failure; The following 47 packages will be affected (of 0 checked): Installed packages to be REINSTALLED: tevent-0.9.21 [FreeBSD] teckit-2.5.1_1 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) tdb-1.2.13,1 [FreeBSD] talloc-2.1.0 [FreeBSD] subversion-1.8.10_3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) shared-mime-info-1.1_1 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) serf-1.3.8 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) python27-2.7.8_6 [FreeBSD] py27-libxml2-2.9.2 [FreeBSD] py27-gobject-2.28.6_5 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) polkit-0.105_3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) policykit-0.9_8 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) openjpeg15-1.5.2 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) openjpeg-2.1.0 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) open-motif-2.3.4_1 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) libwmf-0.2.8.4_12 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) libv4l-0.8.8_2 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) liblqr-1-0.4.1_8 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) libidn-1.29 [FreeBSD] libgsf-1.14.30 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) libgphoto2-2.5.5.1 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) libgpg-error-1.17 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) libglade2-2.6.4_7 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) libgd-2.1.0_4,1 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) libcroco-0.6.8_2 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) lcms2-2.6_3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) jasper-1.900.1_14 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) iso-codes-3.56 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) hunspell-1.3.3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) hal-0.5.14_28 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) gtk-engines2-2.20.2_2 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) gstreamer1-plugins-1.2.4 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) gstreamer1-1.2.4 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) gstreamer-plugins-good-0.10.31_2,3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) gstreamer-plugins-0.10.36_4,3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) gstreamer-0.10.36_2 [FreeBSD] (direct dependency changed) gnutls-3.2.19_1 [FreeBSD] gdbm-1.11_2 [FreeBSD] enchant-1.6.0_4 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) dmidecode-2.12 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (options changed) desktop-file-utils-0.22_3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) dbus-glib-0.100.2_1 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) cmake-3.0.2 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) bison-2.7.1,1 [FreeBSD] binutils-2.24_1 [FreeBSD] avahi-app-0.6.31_3 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (direct dependency changed) apr-1.5.1.1.5.4 [FreeBSD_new_xorg] (needed shared library changed) The operation will free 52 KB. 32 MB to be downloaded.
