While running, I changed my shell to "tsch" and then updated the port. This is rather strange. I all ready had the "libintl.so.9" file, so why would I need to copy it. Strangely enough though, the file is linked to "libintl.so.8" in the directory. lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 12B 2014-12-01 06:41:08 EST libintl.so.9@ -> libintl.so.8 This is the entire listing for that library: -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 102K 2014-12-01 06:41:07 EST libintl.a lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 16B 2014-12-01 06:41:07 EST libintl.so@ -> libintl.so.8.1.2 lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 16B 2014-12-01 06:41:07 EST libintl.so.8@ -> libintl.so.8.1.2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 54K 2014-12-01 06:41:07 EST libintl.so.8.1.2 lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 12B 2014-12-01 06:41:08 EST libintl.so.9@ -> libintl.so.8 I rebuilt bash, and I am now getting this output: ldd /usr/local/bin/bash /usr/local/bin/bash: libncurses.so.8 => /lib/libncurses.so.8 (0x8008ef000) libintl.so.8 => /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.8 (0x800b3c000) libc.so.7 => /lib/libc.so.7 (0x800d47000) I am also unable to find out what port installed the "libintl.so.9" library to start with. -- Jerry _______________________________________________ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
