Hi, You can try to add NO_PREFIX_RMDIR=yes to your port when you test it. Testing PREFIX!=LOCALBASE often produces strange results anyway, in most cases people should test PREFIX=LOCALBASE != /usr/local and not PREFIX!=LOCALBASE.
