The actual error is that "-rpath=/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib" is passed instead of "-Wl,-rpath=/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib". caused by: c_cv_env_LDFLAGS_value=' -L/usr/local/lib -rpath=/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib -ltinfow -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib -Wl,-rpath=/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib' The second rpath is correct. I don't know where LDFLAGS is getting set, probably the vendor makefile.
