python-2.7.2* and python2-2* are meta-ports providing the symlinks to bin/python and bin/python2. Once all ports can correctly rely on a specific python version at build-time (which is not the case for many ports at the moment), the meta-ports will be removed as required dependency. Cheers Marcus
