Dropbox is a good service. You put files in a folder and it automatically synchs them across multiple devices.
I can save a document in my dropbox and it appears on my laptop, my smart phone or my wife's computer. She can update the document and I get the changes almost instantly, even though we have thousands of files in there. It works just fine in Linux, Mac and Windows. It's not as well-supported in KDE/Linux but it still works there. It's not perfect and it can occasionally glitch and fail to update, or it can sometimes hog resources trying to compare a lot of files. I'm really troubled by the lack of BSD support so I'm currently looking for a good alternative. I'm also troubled by the fact that I'm giving my data to some corporation and there aren't enough legal protections on my privacy in the US, imho.
