What does works mean in this case? It start? It can download the files? and/or full both-way sync works? I would imagine that no matter what you would need some sort of kernel support to detect changes in the file system, and I read somewhere that kqueue does not provide all the required features. So it would surprise me a bit if it would be fully functional.
