Hi William, Sorry about the delayed response, but I was on vacation a while back and never caught up with the ports mailing list messages until today. Your direct message was filtered into the same folder, so I missed that one as well. Anyway, could you try running pdftk with truss so I can see what's going on at the system call level? The command is: truss -f -a -s 256 -o /tmp/pdftk.log /usr/local/bin/pdftk <your args> Once pdftk exits with the error, please post /tmp/pdftk.log somewhere and send a link back here.
