On Sat, May 21, 2011 at 04:30:30PM +0200 I heard the voice of Patrick Lamaiziere, and lo! it spake thus: > > IMO you forget to rebuild or fetch the INDEX
It actually points the other way; suggests that INDEX is ahead of the actual tree. portversion references INDEX, and shows new versions, but the portugprade looks up the actual versions in the tree and, in the case where INDEX is newer than the tree, won't find them there. (well, 'rebuild' would fix it since it would make it match the existing files, but it takes a while) -- Matthew Fuller (MF4839) | fulle...@over-yonder.net Systems/Network Administrator | http://www.over-yonder.net/~fullermd/ On the Internet, nobody can hear you scream. _______________________________________________ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
