Thanks for giving this a look. I'm not sure what the actual problem
was/is, but my -current system which has been working well for over a
week started last night to do very odd things, and this morning wedges
almost instantly after I start X. I'm currently running on the
8.1-release partition on that same system, so it doesn't appear to be
hardware, I have no idea what's going on. If it were windows I'd think I
contracted a virus. :)
But in any case I can confirm that my port is working without changing
anything, so clearly nothing is wrong with the SF macro. I suspected it
after reading here that others were having problems, but I'm glad to
hear that it's not more widespread.
