Hi Doug,

Just thought I would write you about an unexpected output from
portmaster to get your opinion. I just ran 'portmaster' alone without
any arguments to get the list of "--help". Surprising enough to me it
searched for a null port and output the following.

===>>> No valid installed port, or port directory given
===>>> Try portmaster --help

Would it be wise if portmaster was run with no arguments that it just
output the '--help' by default ?.

Thanks & Regards,

Or better yet. That list seems pretty verbose just for running
portmaster with no arguments, what about just printing the "Usage"
information instead, along with the --help as a usage.

Or maybe just the Common Flags:
Common flags: [--force-config] [-CGHKgntvw B|b f|i D|d]
    [[[--packages|-P]|[--packages-only|-PP]] | [--packages-build]]
    [--packages-if-newer] [--delete-build-only] [--always-fetch]
    [--local-packagedir=<path>] [--packages-local] [--delete-packages]
    [--no-confirm] [--no-term-title] [--no-index-fetch]
    [--index|--index-first|--index-only]
    [-m <arguments for make>] [-x <glob pattern to exclude from building>]

Regards again,
