The change that went into the tripwire 1.2 port on Fri Sep 12 2008 for 64 bit machines horribly breaks things on 32 bit machines. Here's what happens when you run tripwire in Integrity Checking mode with these changes:
### Attr Observed (what it is) Expected (what it should be) ### =========== ============================= ============================= /.profile st_atime: Fri Aug 1 13:47:37 2008 Wed Jul 8 03:01:13 2009 /.cshrc st_atime: Sun Mar 20 02:39:37 1977 Wed Feb 15 01:52:41 1989 /bin st_atime: Mon Nov 13 08:46:33 1995 Fri Feb 20 04:58:17 1959 /bin/cat st_atime: Sun Mar 20 02:39:37 1977 Fri Mar 5 13:23:53 2010 /bin/chflags st_atime: Sun Mar 20 02:39:37 1977 Tue May 7 20:15:53 1991 /bin/chio st_atime: Sun Mar 20 02:39:37 1977 Sat Nov 4 21:43:21 2034 and so on for every single file. Removing the changes made to Makefile and patch-aux_Makefile solves the problem for me. _________________________________________________________________ It’s the same Hotmail®.
