i'll check my 6.2 system when I get back to Austin later tonight, and fix the port.
Configing as 6.0 is probably ok for now as it compiles against the system headers. -- Larry Rosenman (via mobile) ------- Original Message ------- From: Daniel Dvořák <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 6/3/07, 1:37:49 PM Subject: FreeBSD Port: lsof-4.79A Hi ler, today I have decided to upgrade my ports and have checked /usr/ports/UPDATING. There were nothing about lsof concretely in recently. When the process has begun, these messages appeared shortly: => Attempting to fetch from ftp://lsof.itap.purdue.edu/pub/tools/unix/lsof/NEW/. lsof_4.79A.freebsd.tar.bz2 100% of 447 kB 72 kBps ===> Extracting for lsof-4.79A => MD5 Checksum OK for lsof_4.79A.freebsd.tar.bz2. => SHA256 Checksum OK for lsof_4.79A.freebsd.tar.bz2. ===> Patching for lsof-4.79A ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for lsof-4.79A ===> Configuring for lsof-4.79A !!!WARNING!!! Unsupported FreeBSD version: 6.2-RELEASE-p5 !!!WARNING!!! Configuring for FreeBSD 6.0 I have a system 6.2-RELEASE-p5 and when I installed lsof, this was already 6.2-RELEASE. Why these warnings appears ? Does it mean lsof is not suitable for FreeBSD 6.2 at all and is suitable only with FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE. If it is not harmful messages, so why at all exists ? Thanks and bye.
