The wiki should explicitly note that this software is very much in alpha
with problems to be expected.  Issues that may arise include overwritten
dotfiles, passwd, master db, and corruption of the pkg database.  The
only safe way to test is by using ZFS partitions with frequent creation
of beadm snapshots.

I'd like to edit <https://wiki.freebsd.org/PkgBase#Upgrades> to no longer imply that 'pkg upgrade' is safe in point upgrade situations. The somewhat disorderly mix from multiple repos seems to be problematic ? updates to various ports attempted in the midst of base updates from 14.0 to 14.1.

Any objection to me making a substantial (but brief) change to the wiki?

I can add details in Codeberg, if you like.
