Did you check /var/log/messages for any errors related to /etc/exports?
(Admittedly this export option probably doesn't get used by many, but
I haven't heard from anyone that it is broken.)

If there aren't any errors in /var/log/messages, I'd suggest that you post
your /etc/exports file and also the output of "df" (which shows what your
file systems are). Remember that most things in /etc/exports, including -mapall
are per file system/client machine IP address. If you try and export different
parts of the same server file system to the same client IP host address in
different ways, it won't work.

Good luck with it, rick

Subject: NFS exports -mapall notworking

Hi,

I’m running 11-STABLE as of today and was trying to use the -mapall parameter,
but it doesn’t have any effect.

Anybody else using this?

Peter
