man 8 loader says that it can be done by add line to /boot/loader.conf: init_script="/boot/ifup.sh" #cat /boot/ifup.sh #!/bin/sh /sbin/ifconfig bge0 up It doesn't remove the root of trouble, but it's better than nothing. -- Best regards, Alexey V.
