Hi, back in September last year I had prototyped a patch to make the multi-FIB kernel option just a default removing the need for it to be set for the maximum number of FIBs allowed. This is allowing the multi-FIB feature to be used with GENERIC kernels by just changing the tunable.
Thanks to Alexander eliminating the last consumers of RT_NUMFIBS in code, this is now possible. I haven't boot-tested the re-done patch below yet but it should be fine and passes the compile test. Please test and review. This is also a next step to allow growing the number of FIBs available more easily in the future (subject to mbuf changes). http://people.freebsd.org/~bz/20120315-01-rt_numfibs.diff /bz -- Bjoern A.
