No, we are not using Flex-10. This is on a HP Proliant BL460C G6 Blade. We just installed FreeBSD on the system and setup an inet address on it. Here's an ifconfig from it after disabling rxcsum/txcsum: bxe0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1500 options=1b8<VLAN_MTU,VLAN_HWTAGGING,JUMBO_MTU,VLAN_HWCSUM,TSO4> ether 00:26:55:xx:xx:xx inet 192.x.x.x netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 192.x.x.x inet6 fe80::x:x:x:x%bxe0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 nd6 options=29<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED,AUTO_LINKLOCAL> media: Ethernet autoselect (10Gbase-SR <full-duplex>) status: active If there are settings you want me to get from the bios screen, I guess I can go into it, but I just added "-rxcsum -txcsum" to the ifconfig line in rc.conf, and now the system comes up fine and dosen't hang in sendmail anymore (and DNS also works). -- John-Mark Gurney Voice: +1 415 225 5579 "All that I will do, has been done, All that I have, has not." _______________________________________________ freebsd-net@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-net To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-net-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
