Well, so perhaps that they are different problems? What I think is a problem is that attempting to resolve 'ps_other.a.shifen.com' gets "Unknown host", here is a quick testcase: #include <netdb.h> #include <stdio.h> int main(void) { struct hostent *p; p = gethostbyname("ps_other.shifen.com"); if (p == NULL) herror("resolve"); return 0; } Cheers, - -- Xin LI <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.delphij.net/ FreeBSD - The Power to Serve! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFHsl9xi+vbBBjt66ARAmtfAJ9eNxc9lsWeAdRKbTHCiNH7sFKp/ACeKRIz CaY5Vm97cwf8BV0S1RqCVg8= =3LOM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ freebsd-net@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-net To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
