Hi,
On RELENG_6_2 the max multicast memberships per socket (IP_MAX_MEMBERSHIPS) is hard coded in sys/netinet/in.h to 20.
Would there be any problem with bumping this to say 40. The problem is our VPN routers running quagga (ospf) seem to be hitting this limit.
I know the problem is fixed on 7+ but would there be any adverse side affects of bumping this value up?
