FYI, you can set the IP configuration for IPMI via ipmitool 1.6. I have a minimal openipmi compatible driver for ipmitool to work on FreeBSD. I need to do some work on it before it can be released. This let's me configure IPMI via FreeBSD without going into the BIOS config tool.
