os-x <-> obsd - good
os-x <-> fbsd - bad
obsd <-> fbsd - good

This doesn't rule out duplex for the OS X <-> FBSD line. Hard set them both and test, again it's a suggestion but because it'll autoconfig right on the others doesn't mean it is on that particular one.
