I deleted the internet-connection on purpose. If I get your situation right,
it goes down to the description above? They are on the same network but 
can't connect to each other?

That does not seem a FreeBSD-problem to me. Because (if your network is
configured correctly), the bothe machines should, without interference
of the firewall, be able to connect to eachother.
If I misunderstood excusez moi.
