Julian,
Can you *please* make some attempt to pick your battles more wisely
and stop needlessly antagonizing the KAME folks? I'm sure you have
some areas of technical skill, but diplomacy is certainly not
something you excel at (in fact, you completely suck at it, let's be
honest) so perhaps you should either elect to stay OUT of these
discussions or confine the amount of time you spend "in public" to
only those occasions where something truly meritorious is being
debated. Going into a froth over warning messages does not constitute
such an occasion and you should get someone else more capable in the
art of communication to proxy these discussions for you if you're
really keen to get involved in both the large scale and small scale
issues.
