I use a basic GPS receiver connected via a serial port - a simple C prog
reads the data stream, and updates the system clock every few seconds from
it... For most purposes, the +- 1 sec resolution it provides is good
enough. The rcvrs I have all have 1PPS output, but I haven't done
anything with that yet to get the accuracy down to that point.
