Yes, gmirror is block level and has no knowledge whatsoever of the filesystems
on top of it.
But of course, gmirror works by intercepting
writes to the disk. Vista does not use gmirror,
so writes from Vista will not be mirrored.
Only writes from FreeBSD to the Vista slice will
get mirrored, which is almost certainly not
what you want.
