Look in /usr/src on a FreeBSD system: /usr/src/bin, /usr/src/usr.bin,
etc.

Or try "whereis <command>":

bhuda% whereis ls
ls: /bin/ls /usr/share/man/man1/ls.1.gz /usr/src/bin/ls
