Very good for commiting this -- except that I'm not quite

No change in functionality - copies them like it normally would
(depending on what other options you may have used). It doesn't try to
hard link them if that is what you are asking.

It was on my todo list as well. I think I'll still add
the -a option.
I think that is a good idea, too.
