That's what I meant. I knew Bill Joy was the man who helped found it, and McKusick was actually offered a job there too as a single digit employee. This is actually in the DVD I recommended "20 Years of Berkeley UNIX" as Marshal is the man who does the speech in the movie. That's where I learned about SunOS being BSD. He said it was ;) Well, not exactly he said the idea behind Sun was "Dude we are going to sell BSD on these computers come join us". By the way if anyone here doesn't have this DVD I really say go get it.
