You can get used Intuos models pretty cheaply from Wacom onlineshop. Lack of USB support is sad, but you can use SGI machines with your serial Wacom, too :) FYI, pen switch for Intuos2 didn't work until I either compiled XFree Wacom driver from XFree snapshot or used precompiled driver from linuxwacom sourceforge project.
