I have a system today with a vinum disk setup. I'd like to install new FreeBSD (5.1) with the same disk layout. Here's what I'm wondering:
Can I load the vinum module before the installer from the install CD, thus allowing the installer to see the existing file systems? I think if I can do this I should be able to tell the installer to newfs them and do an install saving a lot of trouble over the more manual vinum install procedure. If this should work, how do I load the kernel module from the new boot loader? -- Leo Bicknell - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - CCIE 3440 PGP keys at http://www.ufp.org/~bicknell/ Read TMBG List - [EMAIL PROTECTED], www.tmbg.org
