I use rdist daily.  It's in 4.7/src, but thrown out of 5/src into
ports/net/44bsd-rdist , alonside rdist6; (Thrown out 'cos of security
holes apparently, discussed on current@ long ago).

I've used rdist to update a Gig or 2 between hosts.  Rdist is more
widely found on Unixes, but rsync maybe newer/ nicer.
