Hi Domagoj, /etc/rc.d/sendmail explicitly sets some variables to "NO" when sendmail_enable is "NONE". Unfortunately, the service script does not take that into account, so if you want it to report correctly, place these lines in /etc/rc.conf: sendmail_enable="NONE" sendmail_submit_enable="NO" sendmail_outbound_enable="NO" sendmail_msp_queue_enable="NO" That will cover all bases, in case some other tool depends on the value of sendmail_enable.
