I think that Linux is not fully compliant. Mayhaps it is nowadays, but the last time I delved around there were some problems regarding ARP, some ICMP [which was recently fixed IIRC] and a few others which I cannot remember from the top of my head though... I think some other people in here might elaborate some more. The point with the RFC's are the MAY, SHOULD and MUST keywords. One can be fully compatible and yet miss a lot of features. Oh wait, we're talking Linux here.
