Most filesystems are created from archives that were created by a depth first search (aka ftw). What does ftw stand for (My guess is File Tree Walk)? Can anyone give me examples of programs that create archives from a file tree in a depth first way? Do these programs rebuild the file tree from archive exactly as they were created?
