On a project where people's livelihoods are dependent, some kind of discipline is needed. In code as complex as the VM and VFS systems, it is good to require some kind of review... As I said before, I had lots of stuff in the queue, but was scared to commit it. It was critical to develop a testing infrastructure, and whether or not I am involved day-to-day, review and/or testing is very wise. (Perhaps it is more accurate to say that it is very unwise not to review and/or test code such as in the VM or VFS...)
