First of all, don't reply to other mails if you're not referring
to them - it messes up the threads displayed by MUAs that support
them.
Second, this question would have been more appropriate for
-questions.

You didn't attach your configfile or even just quote the relevant
lines from it, so it's hard to guess what you're doing wrong.
Just to make sure - you do have both "xl" and "ep" in your
configfile?  What errormessages do you get when booting ("dmesg")?

File a send-pr (see "man send-pr" or check out the handbook).
