   That's not all too interesting.  It seems to be normal:

$ ls -ldi /usr / /var
2 drwxr-xr-x  20 root  wheel  1024 Aug 20 21:15 /
2 drwxr-xr-x  27 root  wheel   512 Sep  9 15:58 /usr
2 drwxr-xr-x  18 root  wheel   512 May 27 06:13 /var
