Greetings ! Thank you for your work regarding palemoon for FreeBSD.
I have for weeks been unable to compile palemoon for FreeBSD RELEASE-12 r341666. I read that a palemoon pkg for FreeBSD CURRENT-13 now exists. Can I use this CURRENT-13 pkg with FreeBSD RELEASE-12 ? If yes,..... how ? If not, the problem with attempting to compile palemoon for FreeBSD RELEASE-12 is: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~/www/palemoon/work/Pale-Moon-27.9.4_RELEASE/media/libtheora/lib/arm/armcpu.c error: "Configured to use ARM asm but no CPU detection method is availablefor " " your platform [armv7, i.e. Raspberry Pi 2 Model B v 1.1]. Reconfigure with --disable-asm (or send patches)".-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do such patches exist and if so, where can I download ? If not, where is "--disable-asm" to be deployed ? I put it in the palemoon Makefile but this had no effect on compiling. How can I either download a working "pkg", OR compile the FreeBSD 12-RELEASE port, please ? No other browser seems usable with RPI2. Your help would be most appreciated. By the way, I've included the two Makefile changes in my attempts. Are they suitable ? 1: --disable-asm2- --disable-runtime-cpu-detect Finally, I got no reply from the Maintainer lichray.
