 Hi,

 I had same problem. For me removing DBUS support from config resolved
 it. If you can deal without dbus support, you could try this
 workaround at least until port gets fixed, if it works for you.
 My system:

 > uname -a
 FreeBSD vanha.mylly.lan 8.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE #0: Fri Feb 18
 02:24:46 UTC 2011
 r...@almeida.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386

 > cat /var/db/ports/firefox/options
 # This file is auto-generated by 'make config'.
 # No user-servicable parts inside!
 # Options for firefox-6.0,1
 _OPTIONS_READ=firefox-6.0,1
 WITHOUT_DBUS=true
 WITHOUT_PGO=true
 WITHOUT_DEBUG=true
 WITHOUT_LOGGING=true
 WITHOUT_OPTIMIZED_CFLAGS=true
