I am also unable to update kBuild on my system running head. I believe the
issue is the addition of native ssp to the base. All release systems seem to
only provide ssp via the code included in gcc12 and 13. I suspect that there is
some incompatibility between the two implementations.and kBuild fails to build
when the software in base is used. I'm going to try moving aside the ssp code
installed in the base system (/usr/lib and /usr/inlude) and see if that fixes
my issue.
