Furthermore I can tell that meantime I also installed a NomadBSD 1.4 system (based on FreeBSD 12.2 kernel) as VirtualBox machine, and it does not encounter any problem in accessing the setted shared folder both in Windows host and in Ubuntu as well. The Guest Additions installation was already included in the system distribution.
