Hello!

Some weeks ago I switched from Linux to (Free)PC-BSD running 9.0
snapshot on my x86_64 machine. I'm quite satisfied with migration, but
there are still some gaps to be filled...

One of those is that I would like to use VueScan, but there is no
FreeBSD version.

I've setup Linux compatibility, but the application is missing libusb:

./vuescan: error while loading shared libraries: libusb-0.1.so.4:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I've seen in the archives, that there was some work (in '08) to
provide this library, but wonder what is the current status with it
and/or any hint what to do in order to try to make VueScan running on
FreeBSD?

Sincerely,
Gour
