I have a reproducible issue with VM's which is not specific to
3.1.4.
Whenever I try to csup to 8-STABLE, the VM and host locks up hard.
My setup
is amd64 host w/ VT-x on.  The lockups occur on both 32 and 64 VMs.

Hmmm.  csup runs okay on my setup: 32-bit host (8-stable), 32-bit VM (also
8-stable), Enable VT-x/AMD-V checked.

Seems like an odd issue, I can get 8-RELEASE just fine, but STABLE just will
not run.  Another piece of info is it also happens on 1 and 2 cpu VM's.
scp'ing STABLE over from host to VM
also results in lockup.  Perhaps it's an amd64 thing, but I have no hosts setup
to run 32 VBox host ATM.

More trouble... make -j4 buildworld went fine, make -j4 kernel died with a "Guru Meditation" from VirtualBox. Log and png here:
