Not sure what you mean by "distro". The port currently provides
Eclipse 3.2.1. Granted that's not the latest, but I haven't had the time
to commit 3.2.2 yet (I have a working port). This mailing list also
seems pretty dead.
Could you please share (as a shar) your port? ;)

Is a tarball of the port's directory acceptable? The attached is what I
used to build the eclipse-3.2.2 port for me. Anyone feel free to send-pr
to update the java/eclipse port(s), or I'll do it this weekend (hopefully
tomorrow, actually). I only tried compiling for i386 not amd64. Be
warned that the compile took *hours* on my X2 dual-core 4400+.

Good luck,

Only (re)compiling Eclipse took hours ? that shouldn't realy be the case. I have to admit it has been a while I compiled/installed my eclipse release ( eclipse-3.2.1_1 ) but If I recall correclty it only took me about an hour or so on my Laptop with AMD XP-M 2800+ ( I did have all the dependencies including diablo-jdk-1.5 allready ). So it seems a bit weird to me it should take that long to recompile it. ( or should I take the *hours* not that literally )
