After applying this patch and regenerating the website files:
% grep -rFl security/feed.xml website/public/ | wc -l
1909
So obviously, the solution I suggested doesn't work. (I mentioned in
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=260747#c9 it might not, but I
wasn't expecting it to wind up in that many files. *grimace*)
Back to the drawing board.
