I assume that the child port also should have a "long description", which
should probably say that it is a wrapper and for what purpose.

Hello,
I am looking at:
https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=clamav&stype=all
This link (from "Long description") is broken:
https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/security/clamav-milter/pkg-descr?revision=HEAD
Thanks for the report, but the link is automatically generated, and seems
to be the result of looking at the page for a "child" port, that is just a
thin wrapper around a main port (clamav, in this case).
I am not sure that it would be feasible to teach the CGI script about this
sort of thing without hardcoding a list of child ports, which is not
really a sustainable solution.
