Hi all, before lesser than 2 weeks my usb-printer (HP ENVY 5540) worked good with ipp driverless printing cups with the following settings:
#cups-browsed.conf CreateIPPPrinterQueues LocalOnly CreateIPPPrinterQueues Driverless #cupsd.conf Browsing On #devfs.rules [system=10] add path 'unlpt*' mode 0660 group cups add path 'ulpt*' mode 0660 group cups add path 'lpt*' mode 0660 group cups add path 'usb/0.8' mode 0660 group cups [usbscanner=10] add path 'ugen*' unhide service avahi-daemon start service ipp-usb start service cupsd start Since yesterday the printing didn't work. I have not made any changes in cups-browsed.conf and cupsd.conf. Have I overlooked something or bodged unconscious? Do you have a notion what it could be? P.S in the meantime I'v deleted the ipp-usb package, in order to reinstall it. I can't find it any more??? Manfred
